How secure is VodSpot video hosting?
Videos are only reachable through unguessable links, optionally protected by a password and an expiry date. Files are served through access-checked routes over HTTPS, and accounts are protected with two-factor authentication. See our security overview.
Can I stop people from sharing my link?
You can’t stop someone from forwarding a URL, but you can make the link useless to others: add a password, set an expiry date and revoke the delivery the moment it is no longer needed.
Can viewers download my videos?
Only if you allow it. Downloads of the original files are switched on or off for each delivery, and every download is recorded.
Does VodSpot use DRM?
No. VodSpot protects access rather than encrypting playback with DRM. For most client, team and course video, access control plus revocation is the practical level of protection.
